What is SimOps

Grounded in Being There

Sim racing center interior with multiple Tvs along the walls, exposed brick walls, and flags, including NASCAR, lining the walls. There are several chairs, tables, and stools, with a mix of concrete and wooden surfaces.

Most sim software is not designed to be centrally managed. As a Sim Center, you have to make sure you manage the content, the sessions, the rigs, and that’s before you manage the drivers! You have two choices: limit your driver’s experience, or spend all your time working on the system. SimOps adds a third choice: let the system manage itself.

The design of SimOps came from frustration. Frustration with the compromises required when operating the center, like:

  • You can’t have different settings for each driver

  • You can’t run any car and track whenever you want

  • You can’t safely start a new session without double checking every setting

  • You can’t automate sessions

  • And the biggest one - You can’t take your eyes off the management software!

In the end, what matters are the experiences of your drivers and your operators. SimOps is designed to enable you to create amazing experiences for your drivers and let your operators focus on human interactions, not technology!

“Make the common task easy and the uncommon possible” is our foundation. We want flexibility with a focus on building efficiency into the things you do all the time.

Using our patent-pending automation process, we take out the errors. Our Outcome Engine is deterministic and self-healing. This let’s your operators set the desired end result and focus on the next customer.

Focused on the Experience

Let SimOps Handle It!

SimOps seamlessly handles your content (cars and tracks), sessions, rigs, and driver data through a powerful profile system:

Rig Profiles Easily manage and apply different hardware configurations across your center without touching each individual machine. SimOps handles the technical differences so you don't have to worry about:

  • Managing different monitor setups across your fleet.

  • Accommodating different wheel bases or pedal sets on specific rigs.

  • The tedious task of manually pushing configuration updates to make one change.

Launch Profiles Consistently configure the driver for a session before they even sit down. Pre-define button mapping, assist levels, and even car setups to effortlessly manage scenarios like:

  • Forcing specific car setups or tire choices for your league drivers.

  • Limiting active buttons on the wheel during group events to reduce new-driver errors.

  • Standardizing the experience so every driver gets exactly what they need, every time.

Session Profiles Gain total, repeatable control over your server environments. Define the session parameters like in-sim time of day, fuel burn rates, and even default Launch Profiles to easily:

  • Guarantee identical track and weather conditions for drivers practicing for an upcoming Enduro.

  • Instantly load the correct race rules and server settings for a specific event.

  • Lock in a consistent, automated environment so your operators never have to second-guess the server settings.

The Driver’s Experience after the Session

“Where did I end up?”

“What was my lap time?”

“How can I go faster?”

SimOps is a data platform at its heart, and delivering detailed info to drivers in an actionable way is the job of the SimOps Drivers’ Site. This is a simple-to-use, but very powerful, tool you can give to your drivers, allowing them to quickly see their stats and analyze their laps compared to others.
